Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis, including full-time, part-time, and temporary workers.
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and employment regulations.
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes in the payroll system.
- Review and verify timesheets for accuracy, adjusting for absences, overtime, or other anomalies.
- Calculate and process various payroll components, including bonuses, commissions, benefits, deductions, and garnishments.
- Assist with resolving payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external audits, as required.
- Ensure proper tax calculations and timely submission of statutory payments.
- Keep abreast of changes in payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparing year-end payroll reports, including W-2 and other tax-related documents.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll with other systems.
- Support in maintaining and updating payroll policies and procedures as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in payroll processing or a similar role, preferably in a a fast pasted envirnment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, or Frontier e-HR System).
- In-depth understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements (Employment Act, CPF & IRAS statutory)
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel:Pivot table/Vlookup).
- Certification in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional - CPP).
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) integration.
- Familiarity with handling international payroll (if applicable).
