Overview:
As an HRBP, Associate Director (Technology), you will act as a strategic partner to technology leaders, driving HR initiatives that align with business goals and foster a high-performance, engaged, and diverse workforce. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, organizational transformation, and technology industry dynamics, with a focus on strategic partnership, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and compensation.
Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with technology leaders to understand business goals and challenges, providing HR strategies and insights aligned with objectives.
- Oversee performance management, calibrations, reward planning, benchmarking, promotions, recognition, and workforce planning for the technology function.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and management of the employee lifecycle processes.
- Drive engagement and well-being initiatives while measuring and addressing attrition trends.
- Develop and execute group-wide HR initiatives tailored to the technology function.
- Manage the performance review process and guide managers in cultivating high-performing teams.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to attract top technology talent, emphasizing diversity.
- Partner with learning and development teams to design career progression programs and development initiatives for the technology function.
- Retain key talent by facilitating secondments, projects, and internal transfers, and maintaining a comprehensive view of the talent landscape across the group.
- Address employee grievances and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Independently manage employee relations issues within the technology function, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks and company policies.
- Support organizational change and cultural transformation initiatives within the technology function.
- Facilitate workforce and succession planning to align with business needs.
- Collaborate with Group Tech, BU CITOs, and CHROs to support the development and implementation of the Global Tech Product Teams operating model.
- Partner with legal and risk teams to ensure compliance with local regulations within the Global Tech Product Teams.
- Lead the adoption of processes and ways of working to support transformation initiatives, addressing HR challenges in a global product development context.
- Implement change management strategies related to the people workstream for the Global Tech Product Team setup.
- Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to maintain competitive and equitable practices.
- Provide expertise on salary benchmarking, promotions, and job evaluations.
- Manage the year-end salary review cycle, ensuring calibration and promotions align with reward guidelines and budget.
- Leverage HR metrics and analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
- Prepare and present key HR indicators and workforce trends to leadership.
- Monitor and analyze workforce trends to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of HR experience, including a focus on HRBP roles within technology or related industries.
- Proven expertise in talent management, employee relations, organizational transformation, and compensation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
- Knowledge of technology functions, operating models, and global product team structures is highly advantageous.
