We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager, Payroll to join our dynamic team. As a key player in payroll operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for both local and foreign employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process payroll cycles, ensuring timely and accurate payroll for employees.
- Handle tax filings (IR8A for locals, IR21 for foreigners), CPF payments, and reimbursements.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employees’ payroll-related inquiries.
- Ensure timely submission of CPF payments and liaise with statutory bodies like IRAS, MOM, and CPF.
- Prepare and submit various surveys and handle government claims and grants (NS, maternity, PSG).
- Assist with payroll reports, audits, and the review of payroll and HR processes for compliance.
- Support the Payroll Manager in their absence, and contribute to process improvements.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, HR, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, CPF, IRAS statutory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Frontier e-HR system is a plus.
