Job Description

The mission is to revolutionize education technology globally by building and scaling innovative educational products and platforms, leveraging the client's technology to enhance learning experiences in schools. The EdTech Partnerships team spearheads partnerships and programs within the client for Education, focusing on selling books and Workspace for Education to schools, thereby making a significant impact on learning and education.

As an Tech Partnerships Manager, you will collaborate with ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) or SaaS (Software as a Service) partners who integrate with our products. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Go-To-Market, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive the growth of our products and business. With your business acumen and expertise in education and technology, you will be at the forefront of driving partnerships and partner programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Partnerships: Oversee product and go-to-market partnerships for the client's education products and EdTech partners from end-to-end, including strategy, negotiation, execution, and ongoing management.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Launch and incubate new product features with partners, enhance existing product offerings, and identify new partnership opportunities that enable product innovation.
  • Strategic Development: Work with the client's Product and Go-to-Market Teams to define partnership goals, focusing on launching and incubating new products and features, improving existing offerings, and driving innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Communication and Influence: Drive internal and external communication of goals and achievements, providing market and industry insights to influence the product roadmap.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain executive relationships with partners, influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance) and partner teams to co-build and execute partnership strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or management consulting.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in EdTech or education-related organizations.
  • Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities, with the capacity to plan, pitch, and execute effectively.
  • Partnership Development: Proven experience in developing partnerships from strategy to execution.
  • Technical Credibility: Ability to speak credibly about technology platforms.
