Mechanical Sheet Metals Engineer

The Opportunity
- Work with Partners to understand overall program activities and to provide progress updates to the Team on sheet metal stamping tools activities to support Printers Production at the respective Manufacturing Partners (MPa) sites.
- Work with the MPa to completely know where the Company's tools are located with the MPa Suppliers base and the tools details and conditions.
- Work with the MPa & Suppliers to transfer the tools from the existing location to another MPa location & Suppliers base as defined by Company's Program Team.
- Qualify tools with the MPa & Suppliers to meet drawing specifications and Cpk values.
- Conduct regular checkpoint meetings with Program Teams to effectively communicate status of sheet metal stamping activities to meet quality and assurance of supply.
- Travels may be required to China Manufacturing Partners and Suppliers base to work on-site on tools buy-off, tools transfer, tools qualifications at the new MPa site and to ensure parts = drawing specifications.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
- 2 years experiences in the sheet metal stamping industry.
- Hands-on experiences in using 2D and 3D CAD applications like Creo, ProE or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and statistical quality processes
- Excellent analytical skills, communication and Suppliers management skills.
