As Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in advising and guiding our company through complex legal matters. You will work closely with senior management and various departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice and counsel on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, contract negotiations, employment law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they meet the company's needs and protect its interests.
Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution.
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement and oversee compliance programs and policies.
Stay updated on legal developments and trends relevant to our industry. Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support decision-making.
Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams and departments on relevant legal issues and best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years PQE experience as a practicing lawyer in law firm or in-house legal role.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Proactive, strategic thinker with a strong commitment to supporting business objectives.
